Expedition

Expedition by Steve Olson is an exciting and mysterious grade 3 piece for string orchestra. The opening theme allows for expressive playing from the cellos before the entire orchestra embarks on a musical journey filled with a variety of styles and bow strokes. Shifting is required for first violins and cellos, but the other parts may be played in first position.
