Welcome to the first installment of our new Friday feature where, every Friday for the next several weeks we will be highlighting one of our 2020-2021 new issues. This week’s featured title is Jennifer Meckler’s arrangement of the third movement of Summer from “The Four Seasons”.
Ms.Meckler is an exciting up-and-coming new arranger has studied with Sandra Dackow. She is currently the orchestra director at West Morris Central and West Morris Mendham High Schools in New Jersey. This arrangement of Summer is playable by an intermediate orchestra alone or, by using the included simplified parts, can be turned into a multi-level spectacular for your all-district concert.
A few weeks ago, Ms. Meckler was kind enough to record a video for us about this arrangement, so we will let her take it from here.
