Sinfonia in C

Though overshadowed by his contemporary Corelli, Guiseppe Torelli played an important role in the development of baroque musical forms. This piece, originally written for winds and strings, has been arranged for string while still capturing the original’s baroque details. It is a refreshing addition to the baroque repertoire available at this grade level.
