About Gael Berberick
Gael Berberick has served as a music educator in Massachusetts, Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma teaching Orchestra, Chorus and General Music. She currently directs Middle and High School Orchestras in Tiverton, Rhode Island.
Ms. Berberick completed her undergraduate studies in Music Education and Music Performance at the University of Massachusetts where she studied viola with Joseph Pietropaolo and William Pordon. She performed in a televised Master Class for Isaac Stern and studied graduate viola performance at the Chopin Conservatory in Warsaw, Poland. Ms. Berberick has played violin and viola in several orchestras in the United States and Europe.
In addition to her educational experience Ms. Berberick is a professional violinist and singer who performs frequently throughout the United States. Her best known song, “Hope for Peace,” can be heard on radio stations in the Midwest. She has more than thirty liturgical songs published with several leading publishers of sacred choral music and has received several commissions. She is an active clinician, workshop presenter and archivist for the North American Liturgical Composers Forum.
